CME credits and points

CME credits, also referred to as CME points, relate to participation in an accredited continuing medical education program. VEDORA shows participant credits for each program and issues a certificate after you pass the final test.

Where can I check the number of CME credits?

Participant credits appear on the program card and detail page. Before starting, also check the target profession, accreditation number and validity period. If author credits are shown separately, do not confuse them with participant credits.

How do I earn CME credits on VEDORA?

Create an account, obtain program access and complete the introductory test. PDF material is available for learning, but opening it is not a prerequisite for the final test. Passing the final test starts issuance of a certificate containing program details and credits.

Test scores and CME credits measure different things

Your test score shows how many questions you answered correctly and whether you reached the passing threshold. CME credits are set by the program and do not increase with each extra correct answer. Passing the same program again on VEDORA does not add another set of credits.

Where are my certificates and credits stored?

The Certificates area of your account shows your documents and credits from valid certificates. PDFs remain available after program access expires. The QR code on each document opens a public check of its current status.

What should I check with my professional chamber?

Contact your professional chamber about licence renewal requirements, deadlines and how to submit evidence. Your credit total on VEDORA records completed programs and does not confirm that every licence renewal requirement has been met.
