Frequently asked questions about CME tests and credits
Practical answers about learning on VEDORA. Each program page lists its own requirements, accreditation and participant credits.
What does CME mean?
CME means continuing medical education. On VEDORA, a program includes an introductory test, available PDF literature and a final test, with published information about its audience, accreditation and credits.
Are CME points and CME credits the same?
Both terms are used when searching for program credits. VEDORA displays participant CME credits, which are separate from the score earned through correct test answers.
Are CME tests free?
Official prices have not been published yet. Being able to browse a program description does not mean the program is free. Valid program access is required to start a test.
Do I need to pass the introductory test?
You must complete it, but there is no passing threshold. Its result does not prevent access to the final test and it does not use your daily final-test allowance.
Do I need to open the PDF before the final test?
No. Material is available after completing the introductory test, but opening or reading the PDF is not required to start the final test.
How many final tests can I start each day?
You can currently start 2 final tests per day across all programs. The day is calculated in the Europe/Belgrade time zone. An attempt counts when started, even if you abandon it or its time expires.
What happens if I close the page during a test?
You can resume the same attempt before its deadline. Saved answers remain, but the timer continues and does not restart.
When do I receive my CME certificate?
Passing the final test starts certificate issuance. Track its status in your account and download the PDF when ready. If issuance is waiting for organizer details or technical processing, the certificate appears as pending.
Does passing again earn extra CME credits?
No. Passing the same program again on VEDORA does not issue another original certificate or add the same credits again.
Do I lose my certificate when my subscription expires?
No. Expired program access does not remove access to your certificates. You can still download their PDFs from your account.
How can a CME certificate be verified?
The QR code on the PDF opens a public verification page. It shows the current document status, including revocation or replacement, without publishing the recipient’s email or phone number.
How many CME credits do I need to renew my licence?
Check the current requirements with your professional chamber. VEDORA displays credits from valid certificates on the platform, but does not confirm that every licence renewal requirement has been met.
